§ 154-19. Prohibited acts.

  • It shall be unlawful to ride in or operate a kayak in any fashion in a reckless, careless or negligent manner so as to endanger any person or property. The following acts are specifically prohibited:
    A. 
    The use of the paddles for any purpose other than to mobilize or steer a kayak.
    B. 
    Standing up in the kayak while the kayak is in the water, except when immediately entering or departing the kayak.
    C. 
    Splashing water upon another kayak or to make physical contact with another kayak with one's hands, feet or other objects which might tend to cause such other kayak to tip over.
