The Environmental Commission may, subject to the approval of the governing
body, acquire real and personal property, or any interest therein, but in
the name of the municipality. Such acquisition may be by gift, purchase, grant,
bequest, devise, or lease, and the Commission shall administer the same for
the Commission's purposes, subject to the terms of the conveyance or gift.
Such acquisitions shall be governed by N.J.S.A. 40:56A-1 et seq. as amended.
